Problem

You are getting this error message when starting Adobe Acrobat X

acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server

Soultion

Modify this registry Key:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\acrobat\shell\open\ddeexec\application

Change value “AcroViewA10” to “AcroViewR10”
